Panfilov Park
The first place to visit will be Panfilov Park, the oldest park in Almaty. It’s also home to several monuments and museums. The park’s most famous landmark, the Russian Orthodox Cathedral was built without using nails in 1907. Explore monuments and eternal flame dedicated to the soldiers who fought in the Second World War.

Green (or Zeleny) Bazaar
A short walk from Panfilov Park, the Green (Zeleny) Bazaar is next. It’s a vibrant marketplace where you can engross in the local vibe, trying Kazakh snacks and shopping for souvenirs.

Republic Square
Driving to Republic Square, a significant landmark symbolizing Kazakhstan’s independence. It’s a great spot for photos with national monuments and fountains.
Lunch time to get acquainted with the Kazakh cuisine and get energized for the rest of the tour!

Kok-Tobe
After the delicious lunch we're driving to the famous Kok-Tobe (Green Hill from Kazakh language) and take a cable car to the hill's top. Enjoying panoramic view of the whole city from 1130 meters above sea level.

Medeu Ski Resort
The final point of today's excursion is the world’s highest skating rink Medeu and the picturesque ski resort Shymbulak. Both locations are situated high up in the majestic Alatau mountains (Tian Shan range) and provide a breathtaking backdrop of natural beauty. Using a cable car again and getting elevated to 2500 meters above sea level. Spending a beautiful time here then driving back to the city. Drop off at your hotel.
